Securing the Site

There’s a moment in every project where it shifts from an idea… into something real.

This is that moment.

We’re pleased to confirm that a lodge site in Hakuba Valley, Japan has now been secured under contract for purchase. The property represents exactly what Talus Lodge was envisioned to be — an established alpine asset with strong foundations and the potential to be elevated into something exceptional.

At this stage, we are progressing through formal due diligence.

This includes:

  • A detailed review of the lodge’s financial performance and trading history

  • Assessment of operational systems and current revenue streams

  • Verification of licensing, compliance, and regulatory requirements in Japan

  • Initial planning around renovation scope and repositioning strategy

The focus right now is simple:clarity, accuracy, and discipline.

We are taking the time to properly understand every element of the asset before moving forward — ensuring that Talus Lodge is built on a solid and transparent foundation.

What’s encouraging is that early indicators align with our original thesis:a functioning alpine lodge in one of Japan’s most sought-after ski destinations, with existing demand and clear upside through thoughtful enhancement.

As we move through this process, we’ll continue to share updates.

Talus Lodge is not being rushed. It’s being built properly.

What’s Next

  • Completion of financial and legal due diligence

  • Finalisation of acquisition structure

  • Release of founding access opportunities

For those following the journey — this is just the beginning.
